A Few Words About Maritime Academy of India
<span style="color:rgb(31,31,31);font-family:ABeeZee, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">Maritime Academy of India was established in March,1998 to address the need for quality Pre-Sea training for Ratings. The Academy was inaugurated in 1999 by Mr. Jyoti Basu, the then Honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal. We commenced the first pre-sea training course on 15th March 1999. As of December, 2023, we have completed 49 batches of Indian Ratings. The Academy is operated by the charitable trust 'Nabik Griha Samity' and its motto is to provide quality training for Indian Ratings. Since, 2016, we have also been conducting the BST courses & STSDSD.</span><br />
